@Martin: It doesn't really matter if there is a swan in Los Angeles, since it would be highly unlikely that they have a school for swedish kids so your trademark rights wouldn't overlap. What I meant was that in a longer projects I actually try to find out which other logos lookalikes there might be out there. And in the case of monogram there is almost always some designer that did something like it before. But for me that is not important as long as the context feel fitting, and the logo does it's job. Which in a case for a Swedish school pretty much is just not to offend anyone.

The font is PMN Caecilia, designed by Peter Matthias Noordzij, from Holland ;)

@Emil: That could be something, I will research that some more.

I'm, again, really impressed by your work. I was thinking of something to use as a final project, and maybe you could do a better logo for the "Rädda Mammorna"-project (Eng: Save the moms) that the Red Cross does? They just have the name there, and would need something better imo: http://www.raddamammorna.se/ What say you? :)

Being able to follow the process in your screencast is for me the most interesting aspect of your project. Just to watch the transformation from all the different ideas to a finished logotype is the part of the process that I find interesting.

I like the swan illustration of LA, but you are probably right that it's been used in a similar fashion before. The font used for "Lemshaga Akademi" is a little bit too much "American College"-style for my taste.

Keep up the good work with your "tweet-me-a-brief"-project. It's a great idea in so many ways and fun to participate in.
