#01 Sarah Claire – Women’s wear logotype inspired by Run Lola Run
July 10th, 2009@apiary: Brief: I’d love a logotype for my women’s wear label called Sarah Claire, inspired by Lola in Run Lola Run
So this is the first logo in this series. I don’t really think that Lola has that much of a personality, however as inspiration I get that Sarah Claire is going to be a casual sporty brand. The result is an open system where the use of color and the use of just the symbol or just the logotype is up to the occasion.

The whole design took approximately 2 hours and the music in today’s screencast is The LK – Stop being perfect
Since this is the first one please comment or tweet so I know what you like to hear more or less of. And you can still be chosen for a free logotype design. So please tweet “You can still apply to Tomas’ free logo summer project, instructions at http://logotyp.se #logotypse” or tweet something else, just tweet if you like the project.

Great video.. love the way you show us your thinking behind the logotype. I’d like to see a bit more… I like the speed and femininity and sporty look of the logotype.
Well done!
Fantastic!

Great work!
I too like that you show the initial research and concept exploration phase. My only suggestion would be to leave the finished logo(s) up for a couple of more seconds – this would make for a smoother ending.
Keep it up!
nice job! in such a short time. Not familiar with Run Lola Run, but I love what you did (and how). Looking forward to the next, and next, and…
@Fredrik Ohlin: Thanks, I’m experimenting with that. So far no success, but I will get there during the summer for sure! Another way to go is having the finished logo as the still before you start the movie, but will that ruin the suprise? What do you think?
Don’t ruin the surprise! I just hit “pause” before the end in order to enjoy (and evaluate
.
I love it!
The colours are great, the general feel is spot on.
Thank you so much!

Awesome! Love the effort that goes into this! Nice.
@Sarah Claire: Oh I’m so glad you liked it! Wish you the best with your brand and that my small contribution will help you in some way.
Very inspiring to take part of the creation process! Very nice end result too! Dont show the end result in the beginning I’d say.
Supercoolt!
